Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are all keeping tabs on Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne’s contract situation, according to reports in Italy.
The 30-year-old refused to be drawn on his future in a recent interview, but with his current deal expiring in 2022, there is some speculation that he could leave Serie A this summer, with Napoli having not opened talks over an extension.
While fans on Twitter think Insigne is a good player, after witnessing the Italian’s performances at the Euros, they think he is the wrong age to be a genuine target for the Blues:

Baller. But wait to see Haaland first then go get other players in whatever position. We need goals and Insigne can contribute well.

We were linked to Mertens last year on a free also.
As much as I want to see something like this happen it’s just more likely than not – not going to. #COYB

Usually, in these circumstances, when there are contract negotiations, it is the agent stirring up interest in order to get a better deal for their client.
Signing another wide player is hardly a priority for Chelsea and even though Insigne is undoubtedly a decent footballer, it would be a shock if he ended up at Stamford Bridge next season.
