Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta is expected to be available for tomorrow’s game against Lille in the Champions League.
The Spaniard missed the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at the weekend and he will undergo a late fitness test ahead of Tuesday’s clash at Stamford Bridge.
Callum Hudson-Odoi also missed the trip to Selhurst Park due to a knock but, unlike Azpilicueta, he is not expected to feature tomorrow evening.
Mason Mount sustained ankle ligament damage in the Club World Cup final against Palmeiras. He is back in individual training but he is still short of match fitness so he is unlikely to start versus Lille.
Reece James has been ruled out by manager Thomas Tuchel. The wingback picked up flu after recovering from a hamstring injury so he may need more time out on the training pitch before being considered for selection. Ben Chilwell is out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.
