Sevilla defender Jules Kounde would prefer a transfer to Chelsea, Manchester United or Real Madrid if he does change clubs this summer, according to reports in the Spanish media.
Tottenham have been heavily linked with a move for the 22-year-old in recent days but the France international is keen on joining a team playing in the Champions League.
Supporters on Twitter are happy that Kounde would be interested in a switch to Stamford Bridge, although some don’t think signing a centre-back is a priority for the club:

Any new acquisition for Chelsea other than a proven No.9 won’t excite me. Top priority.

Although Kounde has an €80m (£68.6m) release clause, a number of reports have now suggested that Sevilla would accept a fee in the region of £50m to £60m.
Even at that price, though, that would seriously drain Chelsea’s transfer budget, with the club said to be piling all of their resources into buying a new number nine. Erling Haaland is currently the number one target and the Blues may need every penny they have to prise the 20-year-old away from Borussia Dortmund.
