Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has revealed that he expects to be back training with his teammates at Cobham “soon.”
The club’s record signing sustained an ankle injury in the 4-0 win over Malmo in late October, and the expectation was that he would be back available after the current international break.
Taking to Twitter this morning, Lukaku said he was itching to return to action, and he hinted that he wasn’t too far from being ready to play again:

It will be a massive boost if Lukaku is back for the Leicester game on Saturday week. The Blues may have won four of the five games in the Belgian’s absence but they could have done with his finishing abilities during the 1-1 draw against Burnley last weekend.
Despite dropping points, Thomas Tuchel’s side still hold a three-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the table heading into what will be the most intense period of the season.
