Manchester United, Barcelona, Juventus and Real Madrid are the “four footballing superpowers” who are “ready to offer” Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger a way out of the club, according to Nizaar Kinsella.
Goal‘s Blues correspondent claims that Rudiger is edging towards leaving Stamford Bridge, as the fallout from the club’s takeover continues to impact contract negotiations:
Antonio Rudiger’s situation remains a problem as long as a new owner isn’t in place. Manchester United are one of four clubs in for him now, a star of the Bernabeu wants his future resolved ASAP: https://t.co/QNHTpDq9Sz #CFC

It is believed that Rudiger was actually close to agreeing an extension with the European champions before owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned.
However, with all talks put on hold until new ownership is in place, it means Rudiger has a big decision to make. The 29-year-old could wait for the takeover to be completed, and negotiate a new deal with whoever succeeds Abramovich at the London club.
Negotiations would, though, likely start from scratch so much will depend on Rudiger’s determination to stay in London. With United and others waiting in the wings, fans will be hoping that the German international remains patient and does everything he can to extend his time with the Blues.
