Chelsea have “identified” Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus as an option to replace Romelu Lukaku, according to Goal‘s Blues correspondent Nizaar Kinsella.
The journalist claims the London club are “already considering making an offer” for the Brazilian international even though Lukaku‘s future hasn’t been resolved:

Jesus is expected to cost around €50m (£43m), with the 25-year-old likely to leave City this summer with only a year left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
Arsenal have been favourites for Jesus’s signature up until now, while Tottenham have also been credited with an interest in the striker. However, Chelsea could well end up as frontrunners if they do decide to make a formal bid for the player.
Not only can they offer Champions League football, which the Gunners cannot, they will also be able to promise regular game time, which he may not get playing alongside Harry Kane at Spurs.
