Chelsea are keeping tabs on Brighton centre-back Adam Webster, according to reports in the English media.
It is believed the 27-year-old’s ability to play out from the back with both feet has attracted the attention of the Blues, who need defenders capable of playing in a three-man backline.
However, while some can see the merit of going after Webster, the majority of supporters on Twitter are very much against the idea of signing the Seagulls centre-half:
Oh god, please no

Webster has been a standout player for Brighton so far this season, but whether he has the ability to step up to play for a team competing for titles, it is up for debate.
Chelsea will inevitably be linked with a whole host of centre-backs in the coming weeks and months. Replacements will be required if the likes of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta don’t sign new contracts before the summer.
