Chelsea are interested in signing Stuttgart wingback Borna Sosa, according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Marc Behrenbeck.
The reporter claims both the Blues and Inter Milan could make approaches at the end of the season, stating it could be “on for summer” after talks over a January move to Aston Villa broke down:
Aston Villa wollte @VfB Borna Sosa. Gab Verhandlungen. Deal aber geplatzt. @VfB will ca 30 Millionen Euro für ihn. @Inter und @ChelseaFC sind u.a. Für Sommer dran. #vfb #skytransfer #transferupdate

As Behrenbeck also mentions, Stuttgart would probably hold out for a fee in the region of €30m (£25m) for Sosa, which seems a reasonable price, considering his age and performances.
The 24-year-old has scored two goals and provided four assists in 18 appearances this campaign, although he has missed a few games recently due to back and muscular problems.
Sosa is likely being eyed as a replacement for Marcos Alonso. The Spaniard has struggled for form in recent months and he was benched by manager Thomas Tuchel, in favour of centre-back Malang Sarr, for the 2-0 win against Tottenham last night.
