Southampton right-back Tino Livramento says he is excited about the future of Chelsea loanee Armando Broja, who has made a big impression during his spell on the south coast.
Broja linked up with his former Blues teammate at the start of the season, and Livramento claims that the Albanian striker has not even reached his full potential yet:
“I obviously knew what he could do and I was happy that he settled in and when he got the opportunity, he took it. He hasn’t looked out of place since he made his debut and there is so much more to come from him, and he knows that.”
Broja’s performances for Southampton this campaign have certainly attracted a lot of interest. Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has expressed his desire, on more than one occasion, to keep the 20-year-old on a permanent basis.
The likes of Arsenal and West Ham have also been linked with the forward, but it is believed that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is keen to have him back at Cobham this summer to assess whether he is ready to play a role in the first-team setup. On this season’s evidence, the Albanian international definitely looks like he could be ready to become a regular at Stamford Bridge.
