Real Madrid are keen on recruiting Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante this summer, according to reports in the Spanish media.
The La Liga side see the 31-year-old as a potential alternative to Aurelien Tchouameni and they feel they could have a good chance of landing the player with his contract expiring at the end of next season.
Fans on Twitter have dismissed the story, with many pointing out that it can’t be a coincidence that speculation about Real’s interest in Kante has come days before their Champions League clash against Chelsea:
this is just a mind game.😂

As we reported last week, Kante already rejected an approach from Paris Saint-Germain in January, so it’s unlikely to be any different if Real come calling.
The France international is believed to be very happy at Stamford Bridge, and it is more than likely that he’ll put pen to paper on a new deal as and when the club are in a position to offer him one.
