Chelsea are keeping tabs on PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangare, according to The Mirror.
The English tabloid claims that the Ivorian international is “under consideration” as the Blues look at potential alternatives to Declan Rice.
Sangare is also said to be on the radar of Manchester United and Tottenham after an impressive season for PSV in the Eredivisie where he has demonstrated his ability both in and out of possession.
At 6ft 3, the midfielder has both power and strength, but he has also shown his ability on the ball; something which is important for manager Thomas Tuchel due to the fact he relies on only two central midfielders in his 3-4-3 system.
Sangare is expected to cost just a fraction of what it would require to sign Rice from West Ham, with the Mirror reporting that PSV would be prepared to sell the 24-year-old for around £30m this summer. We shall see if the Blues make their move for the player.
