While there is still a chance that both Alisson and Fabinho could play against Watford tomorrow, the sharp turnaround between their game for Brazil last night and the lunchtime kickoff means the pair are unlikely to feature at Vicarage Road.

Caoimhin Kelleher is expected to start in goal in Alisson’s absence. Manager Jurgen Klopp will, however, be able to welcome back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has recovered from a groin injury.

The 23-year-old is likely to start at right-back, with Andy Robertson on the other flank. Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk could be selected in the centre of defence.

In midfield, Jordan Henderson may deputise for Fabinho in the number 6 role, with James Milner and Naby Keita playing ahead of him. Curtis Jones and Thiago have been ruled out due to fitness issues.

Up front, Diogo Jota has just recovered from a knock so the Portuguese international may be given a place on the bench, meaning that Roberto Firmino could start alongside Mo Salah and Sadio Mane.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Watford:

Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson, Milner, Henderson, Keita, Salah, Firmino, Mane
