Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he pretty much has a fully fit squad, apart from James Milner, heading into the huge clash against Chelsea this evening.

Alisson will start in goal, with Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back. There will be some debate about who should start on the left flank, after Kostas Tsimikas’s excellent performance against Burnley, but Klopp is likely to go with experience by starting Andy Robertson.

Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip appear to be the favoured centre-back partnership ahead of Ibrahima Konate and Joe Gomez. The pair will have a job on their hands coping with Romelu Lukaku.

In midfield, Fabinho is back available after missing the Burnley win due to personal reasons, so he is in line to start, along with Jordan Henderson. Naby Keita could be given the nod ahead of Thiago, with the Spaniard having had fitness issues at the start of the campaign.

It would be harsh to drop Diogo Jota after scoring in both of Liverpool’s fixtures so far, but Roberto Firmino is a big game player and he may be tasked with trying to pull Chelsea’s back three out of position so that the likes of Sadio Mane and Mo Salah can exploit the space.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Chelsea:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Keita, Salah, Firmino, Mane
