Liverpool forward Sadio Mane put in yet another poor performance in the 1-0 defeat to Leicester yesterday evening.
The Senegalese international missed the target with four of his five shots on goal, with one of them being a gilt-edged chance to put the Reds into the lead during the second half.
After starting the season in good form, it was hoped that Mane had turned a corner, following a wretched 20/21 campaign, but he has now failed to score or provide an assist in nine matches; his worst run since joining the club. Many fans on Twitter feel it may be time to offload the 29-year-old:
Yeah, he’s completely finished. We’ve known this for a while. Needed replacing ages ago.

Put the lad on the bench and see if he reacts . Constantly playing him does nothing for him or the team. At his age ,although being an excellent servant to club, a big money move may be advantageous to both parties.

Some of the criticism being levelled at Mane is a bit harsh, but there is no disputing the fact that he is really struggling at the moment. With Roberto Firmino back fit, there is a serious argument for dropping him for the Chelsea match but, with Mane going away for the African Cup of Nations shortly afterwards, you would expect Jurgen Klopp to keep him in the side before he leaves for Cameroon.
