Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans is reportedly available for only £25m this summer, with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United all linked with a move for the Belgian.
The player’s contract situation means he is likely to be sold for a low price at the end of the season, but fans on Twitter are split on whether signing him is a good idea:
its a no brainer, Ox, Keita, Jones, Morton arent good enough anymore… Milner as well

At £25m – that would be a bargain. Although I’d rather the club focus on securing Bellingham first.

Not if it means losing someone from our midfield. He’s a good player just doesn’t do enough of the defensive work. Wouldn’t fit into our style of CM.

25mill is a steal. We all know Tiago won’t play every game and with Milner and Chamberlain as backups in the centre it makes sense.

25 million is a good deal. But I still don’t want him at Liverpool. I don’t think he’s quite good enough for the top level.

Tielemans is a quality footballer so, for £25m, it would be an absolute steal, especially as he is still only 24 years of age. However, supporters are right to question whether he would be the right fit for the Reds.
The Belgian international’s strengths lie on the ball, rather than out of possession, so there are doubts over whether he could adapt to playing in Liverpool’s midfield three.
Jurgen Klopp demands a lot from his midfielders and you do wonder whether Tielemans has the work rate and right mentality to fulfill the role required.
