Liverpool ARE interested in bringing Philippe Coutinho back to the club, according to Goal Brasil journalist Marcelo Hazan.
The reporter claims that the Brazilian international wants to leave Barcelona and return to the Premier League during the January transfer window, with the Reds, Aston Villa and Everton his main suitors:

Whether Hazan’s information is reliable, it is difficult to know. Goal don’t generally hire journalists with poor sources but Coutinho has been regularly linked with a return to Anfield over the last two to three years so it is wise to be sceptical.
Reports in the Catalan media have suggested that Arsenal and Newcastle are the two main contenders for the 29-year-old’s signature this month but Hazan thinks otherwise.
His Brazilian contacts may have got him some insider knowledge on the story but there is just as good a chance that this latest report is nothing more than another wild rumour.
