Liverpool are “interested” in Aberdeen fullback Calvin Ramsay, according to Bild journalist Christian Falk.
The German reporter (who proved to be correct on the Reds signing Thiago a couple of years ago), says that Jurgen Klopp’s side are keen on securing the services of the Scotland U21 international as “backup” for Trent Alexander-Arnold:

Ramsay has only become a regular starter for Aberdeen this season, having made just 37 senior appearances in his career so far, but his performances have attracted the interest of other clubs.
Two teams in Italy have actually been pursuing the 18-year-old. Bologna (who already have fellow Scot Aaron Hickey on their books) tried to sign the defender in January, while Sassuolo have also sent scouts to watch him play.
Liverpool would certainly be the favourite out of those clubs to secure Ramsay’s signature this summer, but we shall have to wait and see whether they make a formal offer to Aberdeen.
