Liverpool and Chelsea are both “considering moves” for Paris Saint-Germain attacking midfielder Ismael Gharbi, according to Goal.
The 17-year-old is highly regarded by PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino, who gave him his senior debut in the French Super Cup back in August.
However, Gharbi is out of contract at the end of the season, and it has led to a scramble for the Spanish Under 18 international’s signature.
The player would prefer to stay at the Parc des Princes but it is believed that he wants some guarantees about his future before signing on the dotted line.
Gharbi is clearly not afraid to make big decisions, though. Having been eligible to play for three different countries, he opted to switch his allegiance from France to Spain a couple of months ago.
Whether he’ll ultimately decide to make a similar sort of choice at club level, we shall have to wait and see.
