Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has denied claims that he has decided on his next club.
Although teams such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have all been linked with the player, Real Madrid are reportedly the firm favourites to secure his signature. However, speaking after France’s 2-1 defeat to Denmark, the 22-year-old was asked about whether he has made a decision on his future and he replied:
“No, not yet. I’m not troubled by [rumours], because it’s a position I’ve always wanted to be in. As long as I’m followed by the top clubs, that means I’m doing good things.”
Supporters on Twitter are beginning to get tired of the transfer saga and many feel the Reds should just give up on Tchouameni:

There are two possible reasons why Tchouameni has made these remarks. 1) Real Madrid are struggling to match Monaco’s €80m (£69m) asking price and the player knows his future is still not decided or 2) a club (possibly Paris Saint-Germain) have made a late push for him and he is now wavering on whether he wants to join Real. Either way, it seems very unlikely that he’ll move to Liverpool now.
