Manager Jurgen Klopp will have the difficult decision over whether to rotate against Aston Villa tomorrow, ahead of the second leg next week, or focus completely on the club’s top-four charge.
The defence is likely to stay in place, which means Trent Alexander-Arnold, Nat Phillips, Ozan Kabak and Andy Robertson in the back four with Alisson in goal.
In midfield, Klopp will likely ring the changes. Both Naby Keita and Georginio Wijnaldum could be taken out, with Thiago Alcantara and James Milner taking their positions.
Up front, Roberto Firmino is almost certain to come back into the starting lineup but who he will replace, it is not certain. Mo Salah and Diogo Jota are in great goalscoring form so Sadio Mane would, therefore, be the likeliest to make way.
Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Villa:
Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Kabak, Robertson, Milner, Fabinho, Thiago, Salah, Firmino, Jota
