Liverpool are keeping tabs on Torino centre-back Gleison Bremer, according to Goal‘s Reds correspondent Neil Jones.
The Merseyside club are said to have made enquiries about the Brazilian in recent weeks, with the player likely to be sold for around €25m (£21m) during the summer transfer window:

Supporters on Twitter are quite surprised that Liverpool are pursuing Bremer, although some are assuming that it means Joe Gomez will be leaving Anfield at the end of the season:
Not a bad Gomez replacement tbh

All 4 of our cbs are better than him and we have Quansah and Van den berg coming through

Unnecessary unless Gomez leaves.

Other English clubs have been linked with Bremer, including Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham but the favourites to land the 25-year-old are thought to be Inter Milan.
The Serie A champions have already held talks about signing the defender and, with Torino prepared to let him leave for a pretty reasonable price, it means the Nerazzurri are unlikely to be outbid for his signature.
Liverpool may well have to look for another target to strengthen their options in the centre of defence.
