The German coach has reportedly been interested in Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio for some time now. Liverpool remain an option for Spain international, though it’s not clear if he will be leaving Los Blancos in the summer as it seems his current preference is to stay where he is.

The report notes that Marco would cost nearly €50m and is being eyed up by the Reds due to the doubts over both Salah and Mane at the moment. The Spanish winger could be a fine addition to this Reds squad if he does end up joining, though it would also be a slightly risky deal as well given his recent injury record.

The 26-year-old forward has missed a lot of playing time and he’s perhaps not looking quite as exciting a talent as he was a few years ago. The German tactician may well feel he could get Marco back to his best, but €50m perhaps seems like a lot to pay for the 26-year-old winger based on recent form.

However, Liverpool would find a completely different scenario now, with Wolves asking just over €40m for the transfer.

The club actually want Traoré to stay, with manager Nuno Espírito Santo ‘insisting on it’, but the player is worried about his form, fearing he could stay out of the Euro squad, and that may accelerate his departure from the Molineux.

Besides Liverpool, the likes of Leeds United and Manchester City are both said to be willing to take him from Wolves.

West Ham are believed to be frontrunners for the Moroccan international, having previously had a bid knocked back in the January transfer window, but it seems they may have competition from the Reds.

Supporters on Twitter have been debating whether En-Nesyri would be the right target if the Merseyside club do go after a striker in the summer:

Reports suggest that En-Nesyri could break Sevilla’s record for a transfer fee received, with a valuation set at £40m, but we shall see if a team is prepared to pay that much for the forward.

En-Nesyri has been in excellent form, having scored

Liverpool have joined Arsenal and Juventus in the hunt for a Serie A midfielder, while Turkish giants Fenerbahce want to bring in a fringe Manchester United star, all in Friday’s Euro Paper Talk.

LIVERPOOL JOIN RACE FOR SASSUOLU STAR
Liverpool have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race to sign Sassuolo midfielder and Euro 2020 star Manuel Locatelli.

That?s according to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia), who claim that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp wants the Italy star to replace Gini Wijnaldum in his engine room.
Locatelli is already said to have snubbed Arsenal this summer, with Juventus looking like they were close to a deal.

However, the ?40million (£34.6m) price tag has allegedly deterred the Italian giants.
So far this summer, Liverpool have raised exactly that through squad sales so could easily make a move.
Locatelli has an all-round game similar to that of Wijnaldum and would almost be a like-for-like replacement.

However, Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali is seemingly doing his best to invite a bidding war for the player.

He said: “Locatelli wants to join Juventus? [He] also has proposals from Arsenal and another English club that has now joined the race, so he must make a decision, or of course he could stay with us.”

Liverpool’s interest in Locatelli comes after the chase for Saul Niguez and Renato Sanches appears to have stalled.

Fantasy Premier League newcomers: Jadon Sancho aside, who you should be considering

23 goals in 46 appearances, but there is a feeling that he could be a one-season wonder, having failed to score more than nine league goals in a single campaign until this year.
