Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all made it known that they are interested in Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The former Arsenal player has less than eighteen months left on his contract at the Allianz Arena and, while there is confidence that he will sign an extension, Plettenberg claims the Reds and other teams are monitoring his situation:
❗️News Gnabry (3/3): Nagelsmann wants his extension. Bosses of #FCBayern expect his extension soon. Bosses of @realmadrid, @FCBarcelona, #LFC & #MUFC expect him to extend but they have all deposited their interest. No one wants to say when a decision will be made. @SkySportsNews

Gnabry has been outstanding since he returned to Germany. In 154 appearances for Bayern, he has scored 59 goals and laid on 38 assists. He has been equally impressive at international level, having hit the back of the net 20 times in only 31 caps for Germany.
The 26-year-old generally likes to play off the right-wing, and it’s more than likely that Liverpool’s recruitment team are considering him as a potential replacement for Mo Salah.
With the Egyptian yet to sign a contract extension of his own, the Reds are understandably taking precautions by keeping an eye on Gnabry.
