Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has had to endure the frustration of missing out on the European Championships due to injury, but the 22-year-old has decided to make the most of his time off by trying out a new hairstyle.
The defender has gone with dreadlocks, and it is fair to say there has been a mixed reaction among some supporters on Twitter:
This is superb

Considering what Alexander-Arnold has already done in a Liverpool shirt in his short career, it’s unlikely anyone will care what haircut he gets as long as he continues delivering on the pitch.
Footballers, in general, are, however, no strangers to making bold choices in terms of hairstyles and clothing. Earlier this week, Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland was pictured on holiday wearing a rather colourful Louis Vuitton outfit, which got many on social media talking.
Whether Trent decides to keep with his new hairstyle for very long, we shall have to wait and see.
