There is a growing possibility that Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson could be sold by the club, according to reports in England.
Reliable sources claim that, despite talks being held over a new contract, the Reds have not tabled an offer deemed acceptable to the player. With that being the case, the club have a big decision to make over whether to allow Henderson to run down his current deal.
The 31-year-old has less two years left on his contract and the feeling is that the midfielder could be offloaded in order to get a decent transfer fee. Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid are said to be monitoring developments and fans on Twitter are surprised that things have got to this stage:

Liverpool’s owners Fenway Sports Group are pretty ruthless when it comes to making decisions over contracts. They leave very little room for sentiment and it appears that due to Henderson’s age, they are unwilling to give in to his demands, despite everything he has done for the club over the last decade.
