There is no chance of Manchester City selling Raheem Sterling before the transfer window closes this evening, according to The Sun.
The newspaper was reacting to stories that Real Madrid are interested in signing the 27-year-old when they clarified the England international’s situation:

This is very much a clickbait story from The Sun. The ‘link’ to Real comes from a Catalan newspaper that has taken their information from ESPN.
There has been some speculation about Sterling’s future in recent days. It has been reported that the former Liverpool winger is no closer to agreeing a new contract with the Premier League champions.
That has apparently alerted teams like Real, Barcelona and Arsenal, who could make a move for Sterling at the end of the season, when he will have only twelve months remaining on his current deal. Even then, though, it is believed that City would still command a fee of around £50m.
