Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has been nominated for the GiveMeSport Premier League Fans’ Player of the Month award for February.
The 26-year-old was named alongside five other nominees, including West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, Leeds United winger Raphinha, Manchester United pair Bruno Fernandes and Luke Shaw, as well as West Ham forward Jesse Lingard.
Sterling had a standout month, scoring three goals and contributing one assist in six league matches, helping the Citizens to maintain their record beating winning streak in all competitions.
The England international has had some issues with his form this campaign, but he has slowly got back to his best in recent weeks, having bagged important goals against the likes of Burnley, Liverpool and Arsenal.
