Manchester City fullback Joao Cancelo has made it into WhoScored.com‘s Premier League Team of the Week.
The Portuguese international started in his favoured right-back position for the game against Wolves on Saturday, with Kyle Walker relegated to bench duties by manager Pep Guardiola.
It wasn’t Cancelo’s best game in a City shirt, but he was solid and dependable, and it earned him his place in WhoScored’s team with a rating of 8.16.
Three Arsenal stars (goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, winger Gabriel Martinelli and forward Alexandre Lacazette) were also selected in the eleven, along with Leicester City trio James Maddison, Youri Tielemans and Patson Daka.
Brentford’s Vitaly Janelt, who had to play out of position as a centre-back in the 2-1 win over Watford on Friday evening, also got a place for his performance, while Burnley captain Ben Mee and Crystal Palace attacking midfielder Conor Gallagher made up the rest of the team.
