Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Ilkay Gundogan has returned to training following his positive test for COVID-19.

With Joao Cancelo also having recovered from a foot injury, and John Stones back in contention, the team’s injury issues appear to be clearing up slightly. Gabriel Jesus (muscular), Sergio Aguero (knee) and Oleksandr Zinchenko are, though, still unavailable.

Manchester City’s Predicted XI To Face Leeds:

Ederson, Walker, Dias, Laporte, Mendy, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Rodri, Mahrez, Sterling, Foden

Leeds go into the game tomorrow off the back of a confident 1-0 away win against Sheffield United. Manager Marcelo Bielsa does, however, have four injury concerns ahead of the match at Elland Road.

Kiko Casilla is a doubt due to an ankle problem, while Pablo Hernandez (groin), Adam Forshaw (hip) and Gaetano Berardi (knee) have all been ruled out. Jack Harrison is ineligible to play against his parent club.

Leeds’ Predicted XI:

Meslier, Ayling, Koch, Cooper, Dallas, Phillips, Rodrigo, Klich, Helder Costa, Bamford, Alioski

The bookmakers have made City the favourites with Betfred pricing them at 2/5 for the win. A draw is 22/5 with Unibet while a Leeds victory is 7/1 at Betfair.

Predicted Score – 3-2 to City
