Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been given the Premier League Manager of the Month award for January.
With the Citizens having won all six of their matches last month, it isn’t a surprise choice and fans on Twitter were quick to praise the Spaniard for guiding the team to maximum points during such a hectic fixture schedule:

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Graham Potter and West Ham boss David Moyes were also nominated for the prize but Guardiola was undoubtedly the standout candidate considering their excellent record since the New Year.
The Manchester club are currently on a winning streak which stretches back 15 games in all competitions and they will be looking to make it 16 in a row when they face Tottenham tomorrow evening.
It’s been an excellent 2021 for Guardiola’s side so far and they have put themselves in a great position to win trophies on all fronts.
