Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is not interested in taking Manchester City pair Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus as part of any part-exchange bid for Harry Kane, according to reports in the English media.

It has been claimed that the City duo would be offered to Spurs, along with £70m in cash, in a transfer worth £140m, but Levy is believed to want cash only.

Kane’s valuation remains at £150m and there appears to be no way for City to bring down his price, with Tottenham expected to refuse any offers for below that amount.

City, Manchester United and Chelsea have all reportedly been in contact with the 27-year-old’s representatives but, at this stage, the three clubs have not opened discussions with Levy.

Raising £150m will not be easy, even for a club like City, and there is a growing belief that some high profile players could be sold to make the deal happen.
