Manchester City pair Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva have both made WhoScored.com‘s Premier League Team of the Week.
Cancelo was outstanding as he provided the delivery for both goals in the 2-0 win over archrivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Silva, meanwhile, scored the second from Cancelo’s cross, ghosting in behind the Red Devils’ defence, toe-poking the ball past David De Gea at the back post just before halftime.
It is surprising that only two City players made it into WhoScored’s team, considering how dominant they were against United. Even so, Arsenal’s Ben White and Emile Smith Rowe were selected in the eleven after their 1-0 win against Watford. Crystal Palace pair Conor Gallagher and Cheikhou Kouyate were also given recognition following their victory over Wolves.
Norwich’s Tim Krul was included in goal, with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, Brentford’s Ethan Pinnock, Leeds United’s Raphinha and Southampton’s Adam Armstrong making up the rest of the team.
