Manchester United, Tottenham and Aston Villa are all holding talks with Brighton about signing Yves Bissouma, according to RTL Sport reporter Fabrice Hawkins.
The Seagulls are believed to be holding out for around €45m (£37.4m) for the Malian international before the transfer window closes later on today:
Yves #Bissouma pourrait quitter Brighton.
Trois clubs essayent de le faire signer : Aston Villa, Tottenham et Manchester United. Les discussions sont intenses.

Supporters on Twitter are excited about the prospect of signing Bissouma, but most are simply hoping that any holding midfielder is snapped up ahead of the deadline tonight:

It will be a very big blow and shame on the board especially Arnold if we don’t sign a Defensive Midfielder this month while players are being loaned out and a certain player being suspended until God knows when. Our rivals are signing but I do trust the behind closed doors thing

We #Mufc need to get Yves Bissouma or Amadou Haidara
Then maybe Ousemane Dembele as cherry on top 🔴

I’d be so shocked if we landed Bissouma this window. An amazing addition that is so badly needed. #MUFC #TransferWindow

if UNITED let these smaller clubs like Tottenham or Aston villa sign yves bissouma from under their nose it will be a travesty i think this guy has everything UNITED is looking for in a midfielder and more and they will regret not signing this guy 100 percent .#mufc

Whether the Red Devils will get a deal over the line for Bissouma in time, it remains to be seen. It would be surprising if the Manchester club have left it until the last minute in order to go after the 25-year-old, but interest from other teams may have forced their hand.
The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool have also been linked with Bissouma in the past but, as things stand, it appears United’s main competition will be Spurs and Villa.
