Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will likely be without a number of first-team players for tomorrow’s game against Leicester City.

International duty and injuries mean that the Norwegian has some difficult selection choices for the trip to the King Power Stadium.

David De Gea will start in goal, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw playing as the two fullbacks. Raphael Varane and Harry Maguire both have fitness issues so it could mean that Eric Bailly will be given the nod to play alongside Victor Lindelof.

The need to protect a vulnerable-looking backline will likely necessitate the selection of two holding midfield players. With Fred absent, it means Nemanja Matic could partner Scott McTominay, with Bruno Fernandes in the more advanced role.

Mason Greenwood should be fresh after a two-week break so he is expected to be selected on the right flank, with Cristiano Ronaldo starting through the middle, and Paul Pogba being handed a runout on the left-wing. Jadon Sancho may have to settle for a place on the bench again.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Play Leicester:

De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Lindelof, Shaw, McTominay, Fernandes, Matic, Greenwood, Ronaldo, Pogba
