Manchester United are reportedly among the potential options that Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is considering if he leaves Stamford Bridge next summer.
Tottenham, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also believed to be in the running for the German international, whose contract expires in June.
There was a mixed reaction from supporters on Twitter when they were asked whether the Red Devils should consider signing Rudiger:
Better than all out defenders bar Varane. Why not?

The 28-year-old has been performing at a very high level over the last twelve months so you would have to think that he is on the Manchester club’s radar.
Reports suggest, however, that Real Madrid are the favourites to secure his signature at the moment, with Rudiger thought to be keen on moving away from England.
The centre-half does seem to play better in a back three than in a back four anyway so United may be better off not signing him.
