Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford scored twice in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Blackburn Rovers yesterday.

The 23-year-old has not played so far this season after undergoing shoulder surgery in the summer but he is expected to be available for selection shortly after the international break.

Following his brace versus Blackburn, fans on Twitter are hotly anticipating Rashford’s return to the first team:

Rashford actually had to cope with TWO injuries last season. Not only did the striker have to deal with a shoulder problem, he also suffered ankle ligament damage, which he had to manage at the back end of the campaign.

However, his ankle injury has also had time to heal during his enforced absence, so when the England international does make his comeback, he should be at 100%.

After coming through the friendly yesterday unscathed, Rashford could well be selected in the matchday squad when United face Leicester at the King Power Stadium on Saturday week.
