Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho put in a good display despite the Red Devils crashing out of the FA Cup against Middlesbrough.
The £73m summer signing has struggled for form since arriving at the club from Borussia Dortmund but he got on the scoresheet on Friday night and was positive with his runs on and off the ball.
While some supporters on Twitter pointed out that they were only playing Boro, most felt that Sancho’s performance was a step in the right direction:

There is no hiding from the fact that Sancho has found it difficult to deal with the weight of expectation following his move to Old Trafford but there have been signs recently that he is beginning to turn a corner.
Of course, the England international will need to show he can do it against better opposition, and it will be interesting to see how he does if he starts against Burnley on Tuesday night.
