Tottenham forward Harry Kane has not shown up for pre-season training as he looks to force a move away from the London club, according to reports in England.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are believed to be the three teams interested in the 28-year-old and, with the player said to cost at least £120m, fans on Twitter have been discussing whether the Red Devils should be trying to sign him now:

The feeling is that United are happy to keep Edinson Cavani for another season before making a big splash next year to sign a new number nine. However, the worry is that by then the best strikers may have already been snapped up.

If Kane does leave Spurs before the transfer window closes later this month, many assume United would go after Erling Haaland, but there are suggestions Chelsea could table a club-record bid for the Norwegian in the coming weeks. If both forwards are signed by other teams, who would manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer go after next summer?
