Erik ten Hag would like to bring Ajax winger Antony with him if he becomes Manchester United manager, according to the Daily Telegraph‘s James Ducker.
The Brazilian is a player that ten Hag is believed to be a big fan of, and he has been in good form this campaign, having scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 33 appearances.
Antony does, though, have other admirers. Reports in Brazil last week claimed that both Liverpool and Barcelona are interested in the 22-year-old, while Chelsea have also been linked recently.
The winger generally likes to play off the right flank, cutting in onto his stronger left foot, and that is an area of the pitch that United could do with strengthening in the summer transfer window.
It has also been claimed that Antony could be available for around €40m (£34m) so he wouldn’t exactly be an expensive purchase either. We shall have to wait and see whether either ten Hag or Antony make the move to Old Trafford in the coming months.
