Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick wants the club to go after RB Leipzig attacking midfielder Christopher Nkunku this summer, according to ESPN senior writer Mark Ogden.
The Frenchman has been in superb form this season, scoring 19 goals and providing 13 assists in all competitions, and Ogden says the Red Devils (after Rangnick’s intervention) are now considering the player as a potential target:

Nkunku has been linked to Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool in recent months, and it seems surprising that United’s scouts haven’t taken an interest in the 24-year-old before now.
The probable reason for that is because his preferred position is as a number 10. With Bruno Fernandes and Donny van de Beek still at the club, it’s hardly an area that needs strengthening.
However, Nkunku is equally capable of playing right across the front three and, with United struggling in front of goal recently, perhaps the Leipzig star could provide more of a cutting edge.
