Marcus Rashford missed Manchester United’s embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Brighton at the weekend due to bronchitis, and it remains to be seen whether he’ll recover in time to face Crystal Palace in 11 days’ time.

Paul Pogba is not expected to be available for the trip to Selhurst Park. The Frenchman is likely to have played his last game for the Red Devils, after picking up a calf problem during the early stages of the loss to Liverpool last month.

Eric Bailly hasn’t featured for United even when fit in recent weeks but the centre-back was not in the squad for the Brighton game after sustaining a back injury. The Ivorian isn’t likely to be out for long but he is in a race against time to face Palace.

Luke Shaw had surgery to take bolts out of his leg in early April and he was expected to be sidelined for two to three weeks. However, the left-back still hasn’t returned to training.

Jadon Sancho has been suffering with a bad case of tonsilitis and manager Ralf Rangnick has pretty much ruled him out for the rest of the season.
