With most of the Manchester United first-team squad currently sidelined with the virus, it may be a bit strange to be looking at the injury situation at the club.

However, the Red Devils are expected to play their next game against Newcastle on December 27th, so we have decided to assess who could still be missing for that fixture.

Anthony Martial has been out with a knee problem since the 3-2 win over Arsenal and there is no indication as to when he will be back in contention to start.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka had a nasty collision with an advertising board in the 1-1 draw against Young Boys but the fullback was due to return to the squad for the Brentford game so he should be fit for Newcastle.

Victor Lindelof experienced chest pains during the 1-0 victory over Norwich and, while it has been confirmed that it was not virus related, he has reportedly been fitted with a heart monitor. The Swedish international may, though, be back before the end of the month.

Paul Pogba is still undergoing rehab on this thigh but manager Ralf Rangnick says could be in full training within a couple of weeks. However, due to the length of time he has been sidelined, it may be at least four weeks before we see him in action again.
