Mino Raiola has revealed that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is still weighing up his options with his contract running down at the end of the season.
The Frenchman’s agent says that extending his stay at Old Trafford remains a possibility, although the player does have other avenues that he could explore:
“We have many offers for him, including a contract extension. We’ll see what’s best for him.”
It had been reported that Pogba had knocked back United’s last offer to sign an extension but Raiola suggests that it is still an option being considered.
With the upheaval at the club, it is not a surprise that the 28-year-old is taking his time over his future, but the likelihood of him staying will probably depend on the other proposals that have been tabled.
Pogba is currently sidelined with a thigh problem and he is not expected to return to action before the New Year. His last game was the 2-2 draw against Atalanta at the start of last month.
