Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham has been talking to former teammate Jadon Sancho about Manchester United, according to the Independent‘s Senior Football Correspondent Melissa Reddy.
The journalist, who is usually spot on with her sources, claims that Bellingham has been in constant contact with Sancho enquiring about “the set-up and vibe” at Old Trafford.
However, Reddy was keen to point out that this isn’t an indication that Bellingham is favouring a move to the Red Devils. Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool are also said to be right in the mix for the teenager’s signature.
Any transfer is said to be dependent on the 18-year-old believing it is the right move for his footballing development, rather than down to finances. He rejected United when he made the switch to Dortmund for £25m last year for similar reasons.
Currently, the Bundesliga side are reluctant to sell Bellingham, with reports over the past week suggesting that the midfielder may only leave if a club tables an offer in excess of £80m.
