Manchester United are open to selling five first-team stars in the January transfer window, according to the Sun.

The tabloid reports that Donny van de Beek, who cost the club £35m just under eighteen months ago, is leading the list of players who could be heading for the exit door.

Anthony Martial (£58m) and Victor Lindelof (£40m) are also tipped for the axe as the Red Devils push ahead with plans to reshape their squad.

Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard (who have both been linked with Newcastle and West Ham) are said to be the final two available for transfer, with the latter having not put pen to paper on a new deal, with his current contract expiring at the end of the season.

Of course, their futures may also depend on what happens to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norwegian may not still be in charge by January, and another manager may have different plans in mind for the five players in question.
