Manchester United could be offered the chance to sign Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski on loan during the January transfer window, according to Calciomercato.it.
The Serie A side are keen on snapping up Anthony Martial and they are hoping that the Red Devils would be tempted by a straight swap, with the Frenchman moving on loan in the other direction.
Kulusevski has been heavily linked with a switch to Arsenal and Tottenham in recent weeks, with reports in Italy suggesting that the North London rivals are looking to sign the 21-year-old on a permanent basis for €35m (£29m).
Whether United need a player like Kulusevski, it is questionable. However, he does already have one fan at Old Trafford in Cristiano Ronaldo, who praised the Swedish international when he was still at Juve last year:
“He is a great talent. He will help us to win and achieve incredible things. I really like to see him, he has great potential, and he’s an excellent player. I hope to play with him and score a lot of goals together.”
Kulusevski generally likes to play off the right-wing, cutting in onto his stronger left foot but, with Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho both favouring that position, it is hard to see where the Juventus star would fit into Ralf Rangnick’s plans.
