Manchester United are keeping tabs on AC Milan’s Franck Kessie and Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombele, according to Calciomercato.com.
The Italian rumour mongers claim that the two players are being considered as potential replacements in the event that Paul Pogba leaves the club next summer.
Like Pogba, Kessie is out of contract at the end of the season, and his excellent performances for Milan have also attracted interest from the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs.
Ironically, it seems Tottenham’s interest in Kessie may be the result of them looking to replace Ndombele, who has made it known to the London club that he wishes to leave.
Whether United should really be considering signing the Frenchman, it is up for debate. The 24-year-old is undoubtedly an extremely talented player, but his attitude and work ethic have been questioned at times.
Out of the two, you have to think Kessie would be the better option, although United would much prefer to keep Pogba. We shall see how this all plays out.
