Rangers centre-back Connor Goldson is closing in on the final year of his contract at Ibrox, and there has yet to be an announcement regarding an extension.
The club’s Twitter account posted a “pic of the day” showing Goldson holding the Scottish Premiership trophy yesterday and it prompted many fans to demand that the club take action to keep the defender:

There were reports last month that Goldson had agreed a new contract in principle with the Light Blues but, so far, there has been no official confirmation.
It could simply be a matter of time but supporters are understandably keen to make sure that the 28-year-old is tied down for the long term.
English Premier League side West Ham have been linked in recent months and the Gers won’t want other teams circling thinking they can sign the player due to the ongoing speculation about his future.
Goldson played a vital role as the Scottish club conceded just 13 goals in 38 matches, helping to achieve a historic unbeaten league campaign.
