Rangers winger Ryan Kent’s wonder strike in the 2-1 win over Hibernian yesterday got supporters talking after the game.
It was the 24-year-old’s twelfth goal in all competitions this season, and the sweetly struck left-footed shot from outside the box effectively sealed the three points for the home side.
Kent has fantastic natural ability, which was shown off in full when he slalomed past a number of Hibs defenders before slotting the ball away, and fans on Twitter were praising his telling contribution to another home victory:

Kent motm for me, if only for that stormer of a goal. Ended up making the difference as well. We had a few scary moments and our quality wasn’t 100% today, but it was a good match to watch and the right result in the end. Still unbeaten in the league??

Consistency is really the only issue for the Englishman. His 12 goals and 11 assists in 47 appearances show that he does offer a great deal in terms of end product but he does tend to go through peaks and troughs in form during the season.
If Kent could reach his best level on a more regular basis, the former Liverpool player would undoubtedly be the best player in the league.
