Rangers winger Ryan Kent has stated that he is committed to staying at Ibrox amid speculation about his future.
Reports have linked the former Liverpool player with a move to join up with Steven Gerrard once again at Aston Villa but Kent says he is focused on winning more trophies with the Light Blues:
“The immediate future is me playing for Rangers. I have given my best and I want to be more successful at the football club. I feel as if I have a lot to show, and a lot to win as well. My concentration is here.”
There was a mixed reaction to the comments among supporters on Twitter. Some were sceptical, considering they have heard similar things from Gerrard previously, while others are happy to hear the player is still committed to the Scottish champions:

Kent’s contract does expire in just under eighteen months’ time so it will be interesting to see whether he sits down for talks over an extension in the near future.
If he isn’t willing to sign a new deal, Rangers may well be forced into selling the 25-year-old next summer anyway but we shall see how things play out.
